The pico dsgn website has been produced to high accessibilty standards. These are standards that are laid out by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
There are three levels of accessibility that websites can strive to offer.
- Priority 1 - It is required that websites must meet this priority in order that a basic standard of accessibility is offered. This includes features such as offering fully scalable text.
- Priority 2 - It is recommended that websites should meet this priority. This allows access by more people with disabilities than if just Priority 1 was offered.
- Priority 3 - Websites may choose to increase the level of accessibility up to Priority 3, meaning that many more accessibility features will exist on the site, and many more people will have a lot less trouble using the site.
