My Coding
Coding is another term for programming. Generally in the world of website design it's called coding. I code all my sites by hand which enables me to know the site inside out and can prevent any problems or discrepancies from occurring.
Some people use visual tools to design websites, but I find this annoying as with my way I can keep a close eye on what is happening and keep fully up to date with the latest web standards. Sometimes visual tools for building websites will place code in the website that may not be best suited to the job, and also visual tools can use invalid code. This is why I prefer to hand code sites - a bit like the difference between home made cakes and ready-mix cake mixture. You know what has been put in to the home made mix!
